El ciclista costero Lucas Vilar inicia su participación en el Mundial Juvenil de Suiza
Luego de casi dos meses de preparación en Suiza, el ciclista costero Lucas Vilar, que entrena en el Centro Municipal de Alto Rendimiento Deportivo (CEMARD), participará esta semana junto al seleccionado Argentino en el Mundial Juvenil de Pista.
Por segundo año consecutivo, el joven deportista de La Costa competirá en el certamen más importante del mundo para el ciclismo Junior, que tendrá lugar desde hoy miércoles hasta el domingo 19 en la ciudad suiza de Aigle y donde competirán más de 330 ciclistas de 44 países en un velódromo de 200 metros.
Lucas, de 17 años, entrará en acción y representará a nuestro país mañana jueves 16, el viernes 17 y el domingo 19 en las pruebas de Keirin, Velocidad y el Kilómetro.
Vale recordar que este año, Lucas Vilar fue la figura descollante en el Campeonato Argentino de Pista Junior, con la cosecha de tres medallas de Oro y una medalla de Plata.
